DON'T WORRY ABOUT THE FUTURE

The future is going to be exciting, child. You don't have to know the details. Many of my children want to know everything that is going to happen to them. I can understand their concern, but I want them to trust me and be content that my word is a lamp for their feet. I will take care of their tomorrows. If they obey me step by step, I will look after them.

Take no thought for tomorrow. Each day has enough cares of its own. The way I programme your life means that each day will be enough for you to contend with; but if you take other burdens about the future on yourself, you will carry a load too heavy for you. Then you will begin to feel unable to cope.

If you can't deal with what is happening now, you won't have much motivation to allow me to lead you on. So it is very important for you to obey me by not worrying about the future.

When I speak to my children to give them direction, I do so in a variety of ways, once even through a donkey! I always ensure they hear me.

I know how to speak to every one of my children. Why should I speak in ways you can't hear?

Sometimes I have to listen to the frustration of those who think I have forgotten them. They have heard nothing more from me because they need to obey what I have already said. When people don't like what I say, they wait for me to say something else. No wonder they get stuck!

But you are not like that, child. You hear my voice. You are learning to discern the difference between my will and the spoiling tactics of the enemy. That's good, because I don't want him to distract you.

My sheep know my voice and follow me. You are one of my sheep, child. You know my voice and I rejoice that your heart is mine and that you want to follow me.
